1. River-Clay Bottle
This is a bottle made from my local river clay, which I collect at low tide and begrudge its weight. The clay is low firing and as such I adulterate it with fire clay, feldspar, and tempering to bring its temperature up. More weighty than my usual offerings but in keeping with the clay.
Feldspar/Ash glaze.
16.5cm high.

All work ought to be safe for the dishwasher, but, like any ceramic ware, life may be shortened by repeated exposure to the magnificent cleaning machine.
Don’t leave food or drink in ceramic ware over night. My work is too beautiful for that kind of treatment.
